The subject of the contract is an experimental radar system for detection and tracking of UAV flight movements; identification and classification of the UAV is not mandatory. The radar system will be used exclusively for demonstration, testing, research and development purposes in a scientific environment of the AIRlabs innovation lab and not for military or sovereign purposes. With the aim of a non-commercial operation of open radar architectures for research, development, and validation of potential drone radar applications. The aim is a variable installation and operation of the system in our ground and airspace infrastructures at various specialised locations in Austria. In addition to the offer, a joint further development or research cooperation is in the interest of AIRlabs Austria Gesellschaft mbH. As a non-university research institution, AIRlabs Austria will operate the system, together with our 25 partners, in demonstration, innovation and research projects.
